INJECTION MOLDING TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Mold Temperature Controllers
Stabilize the mold thermal condition with a controller selected around the process temperature, heat-transfer medium, circuit demand and production cell.

01 / PRODUCTION TASK
Control mold temperature at the process—not the room
A mold temperature controller circulates a heated or temperature-regulated medium through the mold. It supports repeatable thermal conditions while the chiller removes heat from the wider cooling loop.
Heat-transfer medium and water quality
Flow, pressure and connection review
Machine, mold and cooling-loop coordination
02 / OPERATING RELATIONSHIP
How the equipment fits the process
The flow below shows the functional relationship used for project review. Final piping, controls and connections follow the confirmed equipment.

03 / EQUIPMENT CHOICE
Water or oil temperature control?
The correct medium depends on the required operating temperature and the approved equipment configuration.
Water-type controller
A common starting point when the required temperature and site water conditions fit a water circuit.
Oil-type controller
Considered when the process requires an operating range suited to a thermal-oil circuit.
04 / SELECTION INPUTS
What HWAMDA needs to match the equipment
These inputs prevent a generic recommendation from being mistaken for a project-specific configuration.

05 / PRODUCT CONFIGURATION
Current MTC range is configured by project duty
Share the required medium, target temperature, mold circuit and site utilities. HWAMDA will match the available controller specification to the confirmed project instead of publishing an unverified one-size-fits-all model table.
06 / PRODUCTION-CELL INTEGRATION
Connect the equipment to the complete molding cell
Review capacity and interfaces across the full sequence.

07 / APPLICATION REVIEW
Configure by product and production requirement
These application families can use the equipment when their material, mold and production conditions require it.
08 / BUYER QUESTIONS
Before selecting mold temperature controllers
What is a mold temperature controller?
It is a circulating temperature-control unit used to regulate the mold thermal condition during injection molding.
Is a mold temperature controller the same as a chiller?
No. An MTC regulates the mold-side temperature, while a chiller is selected to remove process heat and provide cooling water.
Should I choose a water-type or oil-type MTC?
Selection depends on the required operating temperature, mold circuit, medium and approved equipment range.
What information is needed to select an MTC?
Provide the mold, resin, target temperature, circuit and connection details, utilities and plant conditions.
